Find local fencing companies

The first thing to consider before looking for a fence is whether you are looking for security, privacy or if your fence is going to be more ornamental in nature. Are you looking to contain your dog or keep your nosy neighbors from knowing everything you are doing?

When comparing prices make sure that you find out exactly what types of materials the contractor is planning on using. Also ask them what they plan on doing with the dirt they have left over from the holes and lastly ask them who is going to remove your old fence if there is one.

The cheapest price will rarely get you the best fence but that doesn't mean that the highest price will either. Make a wise decision when getting quotes for you new fence and always ask the contractor if you can look at any other jobs that they have done. If it is a fence company ask them if they use sub-contractors and if so if they are only fence contractors.
