A home inspection is not a test where the inspector gives a grade of "pass or fail".
Begin, BE BOLD and
venture to be wise
Think of a Home Inspection like going into your doctor for an annual check-up.
Buying a home is a major investment. The home inspection provides a big-picture analysis of the state of the prospective home. The inspection report gives the homeowner the opportunity to understand what to monitor, what requires maintenance and how to ensure their home is safe and sound.
How much should you expect to pay for a Home Inspection?
There are many factors which go into the price of a home inspection such as the size of the home, the experience of the inspector or additional services such as a radon test which go into the price. Do not choose an inspector by price alone. The cheaper inspection could cost you more money in the long run if the inspector cuts corners or minimized some findings that should have been more thoroughly evaluated.
As with any profession all home inspectors are not equal.
There are lots of different experience levels and a wide variety of tools and technology that home inspectors use to diagnose the condition of a property. A home is a major investment and we can't stress this point enough. Cheapest price is very rarely the best in any service!
